The Viewport Toolbar is a crucial component of the Gaea Viewport, equipped with a variety of tools and menus designed to enhance user interaction and efficiency. It provides easy access to navigation controls, display settings, lighting settings, facilitating a streamlined workflow in the Gaea Viewport environment.
Preview Resolution: Choose the preview resolution of viewport. Available options are: 512 x 512, 1024 x 1024 , 2048 x 2048 , 4096 x 4096.
Lighting: Provides comprehensive set of options to modify the viewport lighting. User can modify settings for Sun, Light, Atmosphere.
Render Style: Viewport preview renderer can be set from this option. User can select from Realistic Render, Clay Render, Visualize Data allows to view the raw data with render off. See Render Modes
Autolevel Masks:
Toggle 2D Viewport: Shows/Hides 2D viewport.
Viewport Tools: It provides tools to Pick Height/Color and provides various measurement tools. See Measurement Tools
Viewport Toolbar submenu: This submenu provides extended functionalities and settings for viewport.
Viewport style: This feature offers two modes for using the Gaea viewport: embedded within the main application for a seamless experience, or as a floating window that can be positioned independently for flexible usage.
Navigation: User can select from Orbit, Free (WASD) and Orthographic.
Viewport Elements This menu allows users to customize the display of the Gaea viewport by toggling the visibility of various elements:
Grid: Show or hide the grid overlay for better spatial orientation.
Bounds: Toggle the visibility of terrain boundaries to define working areas.
Navigation Compass: Display or hide the navigation compass for directional guidance within the viewport.
Camera Options
Load Camera: Allows users to load a previously saved camera view, restoring the viewport to that specific perspective.
Save Camera: Enables users to save the current camera view for quick retrieval and consistent orientation in future sessions.
